By accessing our website, contacting us, or engaging us for a solar project, you agree to these Terms.

We are a solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business providing rooftop solar design, supply, installation, net-metering coordination, and subsidy assistance services under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and related central and state schemes.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
• Site feasibility assessment and rooftop inspection
• Solar system design and capacity sizing
• Preparation and submission of subsidy applications on the National Rooftop Solar Portal
• Coordination with your local electricity distribution company (DISCOM) for feasibility approval and net-metering
• Procurement of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and balance-of-system components
• Physical installation and commissioning of the solar system
• Post-installation support, warranty coordination, and routine maintenance (subject to agreed service terms)
• Assistance with loan application through Jan Samarth portal or partner banks (where applicable)
• All prices mentioned on our website or in initial communications are indicative only and subject to change based on site conditions, equipment selection, current market rates, and applicable taxes.
• A final binding quotation will be issued in writing after a physical site assessment by our technical team.
• Subsidy amounts quoted are estimates based on the latest central and state scheme guidelines. Actual subsidy disbursement depends on government portal approval, DISCOM inspection, and subsidy budget availability, none of which are within our control.
• GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per prevailing rates.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in a signed project agreement, the following payment terms apply:
• Advance payment: 70% of the total project cost (or equivalent loan disbursement through Jan Samarth) is required before procurement and installation begin.
• Balance payment: The remaining amount is payable upon completion of installation and commissioning.
• Subsidy disbursement: Government subsidies are disbursed directly to the customer's bank account by the government after DISCOM inspection and portal approval. Sunshine Solaar is not responsible for delays in government disbursement.
• Payments may be made via bank transfer, UPI, cheque, or other approved modes. Cash payments above statutory limits will not be accepted.
By engaging our services, you agree to:
• Provide accurate and truthful information including your name, address, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, and electricity connection details.
• Ensure that the name on your Electricity Bill, Bank Passbook, Aadhaar, and PAN card are identical. Discrepancies may delay or invalidate subsidy claims and are the customer's responsibility to resolve.
• Grant reasonable access to the installation site for our technical team, supervisors, and DISCOM inspectors.
• Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords, housing societies, or municipal authorities where applicable.
• Make payments as per the agreed schedule.
• Notify us promptly of any issues, defects, or concerns during or after installation.
Our standard warranty coverage (specific terms will be provided in the project agreement):
• Solar Panels: 25–30 years performance warranty, 10–12 years product warranty, as per the manufacturer's standard warranty.
• Inverters: 5–10 years warranty, as per the manufacturer's standard warranty.
• Mounting Structure: 5 years warranty against structural defects.
• Workmanship: 5 years warranty on installation workmanship.
All manufacturer warranties are passed through to the customer. Warranty claims will be facilitated by Sunshine Solaar but are ultimately subject to the manufacturer's approval and terms.
• Generation estimates (units per day, monthly savings, payback period) are based on standard irradiance, system design, and assumptions about your current electricity consumption. Actual generation may vary due to weather, shading, grid conditions, and other factors outside our control.
• Subsidy eligibility and disbursement are governed by the Government of India and the State of Chhattisgarh. Changes in scheme rules, subsidy slabs, or budget availability may affect the amount and timing of subsidy received. Sunshine Solaar is not liable for changes in government policy.
• DISCOM approvals and inspections follow timelines set by the electricity board. We make best efforts to expedite these processes, but actual approval and net-metering dates are outside our direct control.
• Sunshine Solaar is not responsible for damages caused by acts of god (lightning, storms, floods, earthquakes), customer misuse, unauthorized modifications, animal damage, or third-party construction activity at the site.
• If you cancel your project before advance payment, there is no financial obligation.
• If you cancel after advance payment but before material procurement, we will refund the advance minus actual expenses incurred (site visit, design, portal application fees).
• If you cancel after material procurement has begun, the advance is non-refundable, and additional charges for procured equipment may apply, as governed by our signed project agreement.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 working days to the original payment source.
By providing your WhatsApp number, you consent to receive project-related messages from Sunshine Solaar Systems via the official WhatsApp Business platform. These messages may include:
• Welcome and greeting messages
• Application and subsidy status updates
• Payment reminders and receipts
• Installation schedules and milestone notifications
• Post-installation care and warranty information
• Occasional service updates related to your project
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by replying "STOP" on WhatsApp or contacting us at our business number. Transactional and compliance-related messages (e.g., payment receipts, subsidy confirmations) will continue as required.
All content on the Sunshine Solaar Systems website — including logos, text, images, designs, and proposals — is the property of Sunshine Solaar Systems and protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Customer-specific design documents, proposals, and installation photographs remain our intellectual property but may be shared with the customer for their personal reference.
Sunshine Solaar may engage authorized franchise partners to execute projects in certain regions. These partners operate under the Sunshine Solaar brand and under our central PM Surya Ghar vendor registration. All projects executed by authorized partners are backed by Sunshine Solaar's standards and warranties as described in these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith discussion between the parties.
• If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator mutually appointed. The seat of arbitration shall be Durg / Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
• Subject to the above, the courts at Durg / Bhilai, Chhattisgarh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
